Cable Technician Job Duties


Cable technicians are responsible for installing data and audio systems on residential TVs, home routers and other cable devices. Assignments may include drilling and underground cables, plumbing work, installation equipment, and exploration of cable systems.

To ensure success as a rope technician, a solid understanding of electrical systems, home entertainment systems and cable technology is required. You should be able to work in a limited, lengthy environment and deal with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Finally, the top wire technician will provide high quality, efficient services according to company guidelines.

Obligation to the artist:
Installation, repair and repair of cable infrastructure.
Performing maintenance of existing cable systems.
The cable cables were installed or restored according to company instructions.
Identify and remove defective cables.
Installation of TVs, router and Internet technology devices.
Solving cable network problems.
Installation of support structures for cables such as j-hooks, wires that hold cables and internal passages.
Repair of wires and cables.
Make sure all cables are properly connected and plugged in accordance with safety standards.
Complete documentation such as time-sheet, checklist, vehicle inspection reports and service orders.
Technical terms:
High school diploma or GED.
Previous work experience as a wire technician.
Strong knowledge of mathematics, science and electrical systems.
Ability to install Internet and television equipment.
The ability to work looga dense areas.
Strong communication and personal skills.
Ability to diagnose, resolve and resolve any problems that arise.
Ability to work at length.
Ability to identify independent colors and learn color codes.
