Web administrators manage and maintain websites based on functionality, appearance, content, and performance. Additionally, in the rapidly changing world of technology, updates and improvements are inevitable, so web administrators need to incorporate these advances.

Build and update websites

Web administrators work directly with code and frequently update web pages to add content or customize the layout. For major changes such as website extensions, they create new web pages from wireframes that they can create themselves.

Evaluate structure and content

Because they are familiar with the website and its role in updating it, web administrators help shape the structure of the website. They set basic standards for graphics and content and check quality before downloading components.
